Third Boys' Hockey keeps it close with Forman but falls 1-0

Trying to ride the momentum from a good team win against Avon Old Farms before the long winter weekend, the Third Boys' squad matched up well against a fast skating and skilled Forman team. Spencer Rellinger '17 was strong all night long in the net, thwarting more than a few odd man rushes and breakaways. Forman got the first score of the game late in the second and amazingly that one goal would be the game winner. Westminster had plenty of opportunities at the other end but just could not get one into the back of the net. Tyler Rome '16 and Tim Harris '15 did distinguished work on the blue line, while Carson Roth '19 and Jackson Schopp '19 led the offense. Grant Noble '18 also had several in tight opportunities late in the game. Even with an extra skater in the final minute, Forman remained stingy until the final buzzer. Next up Salisbury in their barn.
