Martlets Shutout Suffield
The Squash Sisters got back in the win column on a chilly Friday afternoon visiting local Suffield. The group was ready to go, and fired across nearly all cylinders from positions 1-10. Highlights included great performances from Camilla Norton ‘25, Clover Cooper ‘26, Clara Covill ‘26 and Lilly Mcmillen ‘27. Wynne Prichett ‘28 and Grace Kim ‘25 were also great sports in their contests with good communication, fair play and support from the sidelines. Luna Yang ‘26 and Blair Li ‘28 also battled hard in their contests which included some great shotmaking and longer rallies. The Grit and Grace award for the day goes to Lucy Morton ‘26 who not only won her match comprehensively, but was a cheerful sport throughout the contest and was quick to support her teammates before and after her own match. The recognition could go to anyone, and credit to the Suffield team for being gracious hosts. The team has the weekend off before picking it back up next week.
