Martlets Fall to Taft

The Martlets face another top New England team on Wednesday. Taft came out strong but Westminster was able to hold the fort down until late in the first half. In net for the Martlets was Dennis Quiwon ‘26 who had some outstanding stops both in the first and second half. Taft was able to get on the board again early in the second half to take a 2-0 lead. Things almost got interesting when Westminster’s Abraham Monsee ‘25 was taken down in the box but was not awarded a PK. Taft pressed late and scored three unanswered in the final fifteen minutes. The game wrench would go to Sam Herder ‘27 for his continuous hard work and tackles.
