Third Boys' Hockey has tough afternoon in loss to Salisbury

It was a tough afternoon for Third Boys' Hockey, as the Crimson of Salisbury got momentum early on their Olympic-sized sheet and never looked back. The Martlets came out with energy in the first and had plenty of opportunities to score, but the Crimson tender was up to the task. Rolling four lines, Salisbury quickly began to wear the Martlets down. Fatigue led to a breakdown of on ice structure, especially in Westminster's end, and then to a sense that it was going to be a long afternoon. Wick Carter '19, Tyler Rome '16 and Jackson Schopp '19 were the goal scorers on the day. While Westminster "won" the third period 2-1, the team as well as the coach did not feel they came to play. Onward to the final couple of weeks of the season and a renewed commitment to improving in all areas of the game.
