Martlets Defeat NMH

Great first win for the JV girls. In the first half of the quarter, Wynne Pritchett ’28 set the tone for the game by scoring twice. Assisted by a strong group of attackers, Piper Lundin ’26 also put two points on the board, including a penalty shot. Everyone on the team played with intensity and dedication. Chase Hager ’26 and Avery Boulanger ’25 dominated the mid-field, from successfully taking the draw, and playing defense, to running across the field to score points. The final shot of the game was taken by Edie Goodyear ’28, who coordinated well with her teammates and tactfully took her shot. The entire game was made even stronger by our strong defense, with the unwavering Caroline Breslav ’26 and our captains Sofia Davella ’25 and Maddie Clark ’25.

The shoutout goes to Chase Carter ’26 for stepping up to play goalie and performing several crucial saves in the game.
