Martlets Shutout by Rumsey

We faced once again this varsity team during our final game of the season. The team played as one, communicating with each other and cheering each other on. While we had an extremely difficult season with not enough players and playing teams at a higher level, this group of girls truly learned what it means to be there for each other with loss after loss. We learned how to say “It’s Ok,” not put blames, and continue to improve our playing day after day. Virginia Whiting ’26 played with game tactics in mind, dropping back and advancing to build our strong offense. Abby Desson ’28 once again tirelessly ran up and down the field, not giving up any chance to hit the ball. Lily Abdel-Meguid ’26 played goalie and kicked the ball several times, a first in this season!
Grit and Grace: Rebecca Hartman ’28 for playing goalie whenever she can and for playing every game with 100% effort.
