Martlets Fall to Miss Porter's
The Westminster Girl’s Cross Country team suffered a tough loss against the Miss Porter's Cross Country team this past Saturday. Going in as the underdogs of the meet, our girls gave everything they had to stick as close to Porters as possible and accomplished some fantastic times as a result. Sophia Lazor ‘27 took fourth place in the meet in a season best time of 22:31. Sofia Eleuteri ‘28 was close behind her in a fantastic personal best time of 23:00 (a 43 second drop from an already incredible time). Sophie Grace Stevenson ‘24 took sixth for the Martlets in a time of 24:37. Hayden Schneider ‘25 performed a season best time of 25:31 and Sabrina Yang ‘26 also accomplished a season best time in 31:56. Congratulations as well to Parker Perillo ‘26 for running in her first meet for the Martlets. Well done!

Finally, our grit and grace award goes to Sophie Grace Stevenson ‘25 who bounced back from a tough quad injury to run a stellar performance for the Martlets.
