Martlets Shutout Pomfret

The Martlets jumped on the road for their first away game up in the quiet corner of the state. It was the first time all season the team was able to put together 90 strong minutes of soccer against a hard-working Pomfret side. Back in the lineup full time, Garrett Rohrbaugh ‘27 scored the team's first goal from distance to give the visitors the 1-0 lead at halftime. As Pomfret pushed forward in the second half it gave the Martlets a few more opportunities to play balls into the box. Abraham Monsee ‘25 scored two nice, well-composed goals to extend the lead to the final of 3-0. Dennis Quiwon ‘26 played great in net with a solid six saves. The team wrench went to Rohrbaugh for his tough play in the back. The game ball went to Monsee for his two goals. The midfield unit of Warner ‘25, Misko ‘27, Sonnah ‘26, and Maurice ‘27 played great.
