Student-Athletes Commit to Sports at Collegiate Level

On Feb. 19, eight student-athletes were recognized for their commitments to competing at the collegiate level, bringing the total number of student-athletes from the Class of 2025 set to play college sports to 24. Their dedication, perseverance, and passion for their sport have led them to this incredible milestone, exemplifying the rewards of hard work both on and off the field. This celebration was not only a recognition of their achievements but also a tribute to the unwavering support of those who have guided them along the way. A heartfelt thank you to the friends, family, coaches, and teammates who gathered in the Gund Reading Room to honor these athletes and their journey toward fulfilling their dreams.

Director of Athletics Tim Joncas said, “It's incredibly rewarding to see these student-athletes head off to play in the NCAA. It truly validates their dedication, as well as the unwavering support of their families and coaches. We are immensely proud of these athletes, and all our student-athletes, as they embody the values of Grit and Grace—not just as competitors, but as individuals. The colleges and universities that will welcome these young people into their programs are gaining not only incredible athletes, but exceptional teammates who will make a lasting impact both on and off the field."
