Martlets Defeat Porter's

The team closed out the season with a well-earned victory—their first win against Miss Porter’s after three tough matchups this year! This hard-fought battle was the perfect way to cap off a season of growth, determination, and resilience.
The match saw standout performances across the lineup, including a thrilling four-game comeback (Rahimi ‘27-10-12, 11-6, 11-8, 11-2) and another hard-fought win (Shuster ‘27- 7-11, 11-8, 11-7, 11-8) that showcased grit and smart adjustments. Dominant straight-game victories (Breslav ‘26 - 11-4, 11-9, 11-8) and (Desson ‘28 - 11-5, 11-9, 11-5) helped secure the team’s long-awaited win over Miss Porter’s.
While some matches didn’t go our way, the fight never wavered, including an intense exhibition match that ended in a nail-biting Turton ‘27 12-14, 10-12.
This victory was a testament to the team’s progress and perseverance throughout the season. What a way to finish strong—congratulations on a fantastic season!
