Martlets Fall to Westover

The girls traveled to Middlebury, CT to play another top-ten team, falling 6-1 to the Wildcats of Westover. The Martlets’ lone win came at 3-0 from Anna Min ‘27 at #7 (6, 2, 4), with a 3-0 exhibition win also tacked on by Maddie Clark ‘25 (4, 7, 4). The only other bright spot came at #1, where Sophia Lazor ‘27 made another impressive showing, clearly frustrating her talented opponent while twice coming close to taking a game (9, 2, 12). Another steep hill awaits when the Martlets travel to Kent on Saturday in their final match before the High School Nationals.
