Martlets Defeat Canterbury

Westminster secured a hard-fought 46-36 victory in a game where everyone contributed to the win. The turning point came at the start of the second half when the Martlets came out with unmatched energy and precision, setting the tone for the remainder of the game. The offense was balanced, with multiple players stepping up and sharing the scoring load, while the defense held strong, forcing key turnovers and limiting the opponents’ chances. This collective effort showcased the team's depth and determination. Liam Hibbard ‘27 and Caden Cramer ‘27 led the way with tremendous backcourt play. Bennett Varao ‘27 and Caden Darnowski ‘28 were unstoppable on the offensive end. The Martlets built a 22-2 lead to start the game. C-bury went on a 9-2 run to end the 1st half and Westminster led 24-11 at the break. Alex Brown ‘27 made sure the momentum did not carry over to the second half. He broke the press successfully and the Martlets led 38-15 at the 11 minute mark. While Canterbury made some shots in the final 8 minutes, Enoch Olaosebikan ‘27 and Rohan Satpathy ‘27 hit some big 3 pointers down the stretch. Congratulations to the entire team for a well-rounded performance and an impressive win!
