Martlets Fall to Wild Boars

In their first road game of 2025 the Martlets faced a tough Boars team. In the opening minutes of the game the girls were playing together, diving on the floor for loose balls and grabbing key offensive and defensive rebounds. However, the Boars ended up going on various runs that the Martlets could not answer. Avauni Anderson ‘25 provided steady baskets all game. Our “three point specialist” Suri Dong ‘28 was able to bank in a  three pointer as well. As always the girls displayed grit and heart the entire game, consistently cheering one another on and physically picking each other up when they were in need. Emma Isakoff ‘25 and Adam Debele ‘25 contribute locked down defense. While Piper Lundin ‘26 and Arielle Anderson ‘28 also provided the team with some great rebounding. Finally, Bella Lilien ‘27 did her best to run the offense, despite intense defense from the Boars. The Martlets hope to get back on the winning side in their next game Friday against KO.
