Martlets Shutout by Eaglebrook
After a long few weeks of practice with no matches, the boys were eager to take to the courts for the first time this season. Hosting the young but very talented team from Eaglebrook, we knew this would not be an easy match. Eaglebrook is a strong and very deep team who were good up and down the ladder. Eaglebrook won all 9 matches played in 3 games, but the Westminster boys fought hard up and down. Kudos to several players for forcing games past 9-9. The boys showed good effort and sportsmanship despite the defeat. We return to action on January 8th to host Avon High School on our courts.
